The best argument is that there are way too many pluto sized objects in the solar system for us to consider them all planets.

Edit: People don't seem to understand this is an argument for standards. Pluto does not get to be a planet just because you personally like it.

Reason we downgraded pluto was because if we did not, we'd have to add 70 other objects in our solar system to the classification of planet. Cuz they'd also fulfill 2/3 requirements.
