You know what is super interesting about the story of the woman caught in adultery. The Lord used this to convict her accusers because the Pharisitical law at that time dictated that if a person was stoned for a crime by someone who had also committed the same sin or crime, the person that had that sin who stoned them must be stoned. So when Jesus said "Let him without sin cast the first stone, " what He REALLY said was, "Let he who has not committed THIS sin cast the first stone." Likely several of those accusers had been in adultery with her and Jesus knew it.

Beresford Job in England has done incredible work uncovering what the stories of Jesus miracles and acts were really about relative to the traditions and laws of the Jewish sanhedrin at the time. Really worth a listen, quite eye opening! Blessings!
