Dude, all these big time YT'ers who play this and YOU are the only one who has broken it down this easily and put all these locations in ONE VIDEO... insta sub! Much APPRECIATED! This vid should have 100k hits!

3 years on, this video is still a lifesaver! Thank you, I found several materials in bulk that I hadn't ever even come across in 500 hours of play

For any wondering it is "Hyades Sector DR-V C2-23" for Davs Hope and NOT Hyades Sector DR-V C2-22 like the description says.

This was needed so much for the newer players and some old ones to.. I've been playing since pre release and still love it when I learn new things from other people.. cheers..

At Plucker's Relay park the ship 2 km from the site (or they'll attack you) go with SRV, make a round trip and scan all 5 data Points, relog at will. All Grade IV/V Encoded stuff.

I gotta stop in and say thanks. I've played off and on for years, recently came back and finished my grind for the Corvette and ran in to a wall trying to engineer it as I couldn't figure out a decent method for farming materials. Every other source I looked at (and I've been doing research for the better part of two hours prior) felt catered to people who already knew what they were doing, skipping over the basics for those who are unfamiliar with (new) mechanics. So, TL:DR, thank you for the awesome and thorough guide!

Big thanks to you for putting this up . Im just getting into using the Enginners and Ive done a bit of upgrading and a bit of trading from mining and missions Ive done since I started playing. I was surprised at how much I already had. But to start getting the blue prints I realised I was going to have to start tracking down all this stuff and I had no idea how I was going to do it . Between this video and one that cmdr Exigious put up which shows a very similar method, this is so invaluable .

As a new player this video has helped so much (as did your money making video). I farmed each location for 1 hour and farmed enough mats to unlock 14 engineers. Going round again so I can farm all the mats to fully engineer my DBX for exploration.

Thank you for making these videos and making them noob friendly. A lot of elite dangerous youtubers skip over the basic stuff so thank you so much.

27:19 - Plucker Relay landing tips. The restricted airspace above it on approach is about 8 to 10K. Stay out of airspace. Start ground landing about 8 to 10km away and then approach at 100 to 200m above ground until you are 2 to 3km away. I landed 3km away to be safe. If you get fines, you are okay until you have a bounty placed on you. They will attack with bounty. Leave planet. I went to Gabien Ku - Braun Beacon to pay my fine at Interstellar Factors. Then try to land near Pluker Relay again.

Great video my man. I've been playing Elite off and on since the early days of Beta 2. I quit playing shortly after the Engineers were introduced because tons of other games ended up occupying my time. Decided to jump back into Elite recently and all of this Engineering stuff has been very confusing for me to make sense of. I've seen lots of other videos but they don't go into enough detail. I appreciate that you took the time to put this lengthy video together. You go into just enough detail that allows someone to find their own farming planets and create their own loop, but don't go so far into it that the information you're trying to get across gets lost.

I didn't even know you could manufacture ammo, limpets, and fuel either. That sounds pretty crazy useful.

Finally a great Elite Dangerous video with really valuable information. Learned more here than in around 10 previous videos. Thanks!

Most useful guide ever on this subject, and I’ve scoured YT now I’m trying to engineer in anger. Thanks so much

Side note on plucker relay, be sure to scan the ship that spawns on the landing pad while making your rounds, it won't always give data, but it's worth hitting!

Also every engineers base moons are loaded with raw materials. Scan the moon and look for geological signals. This will have landing places where raws are in abundance. You'll have to go there so check it out .
