Okay, this is a serious moment for the Captain. We initially see him as a semi-competent timeserver, as much of a passenger on the Axiom as any of the humans. But here, he steps up, comes up with some seriously ingenious plans, hotwires equipment and most definitely shows he deserves his title.

I like how this movie’s definition of “defective” is just that “you have a personality.”

2:22 I love how M-O just starts aggressively cleaning them

Just seeing all of the defective robots Wall-e freed doing everything they physically can to achieve their goal was so awesome. Even the painterbot was the one who had the idea for Wall-e to play his radio because they all recognized it. And 1:06 was the most badass frame in the movie. And hearing the captains laugh when he finally reaches the button for the holo-detector you could feel the victory he was having.

"Halt."

"Wrong."

Those guard bots are the best.

I laugh every time the steward sees the green paint trail and just goes, "Wrong."

I loved how Wall-E used the "Hello, Dolly!" song as a way to call in the other defective robots for help. I laughed at that scene. "Put on your Sunday clothes" = "Calling All Robots!" Lol

I swear that captain is soo smooth. Being able to give a message to WallE and Eve, tricking Auto into coming into the room, and using his own painting to hide himseld for a bit! Any normal person would just give up but this guy???

I really love the clever names of these robots: PR-T ("pretty", the salon robot), VAQ-M (the vacuum cleaner robot), D-FIB (the defibrillator bot), BRL-A (the umbrella bot), HAN-S ("hands", the masseuse bot), and VN-GO ("Van Gogh", the painter bot).

2:28
3:23
this massage bot is the true hero of Wall E. Taking out the Axiom's ENTIRE steward supply single handedly (confirmed in the script: Auto sent out every steward one to pursue them)

if you look closely at 2:28 you can see EVE averts her eyes and Wall E looks horrified by the carnage that bot inflicted.
and 3:23 is just freaking hilarious. It panting like a wild beast and destroying the last one with a single blow

It’s been twelve years since this movie came out—but *every single time* I hear the painter robot start beeping out “Sunday Clothes, ” I tear up. WALL-E has made such a difference on the Axiom, and that song shows the hope and change that he inspired in “defective” robots who were kept locked up just because they weren’t perfect. And then they become a freaking ARMY and save the whole ship. It’s just plain incredible.

I loved and still love to this day when HAN-5 was tired after destroying all those kiosks, and then one more tried to survive and he smashed him to bits.

0:36 I never noticed how completely harmless Wall-E looks in the picture 😂

3:22 Also if this movie was for robots it’d be rated R for gore.

I really love the fact that at 1:06 the way that wall-e says “oh” it’s like that he didn’t except that this many rejected robots remember him
