Ricky, this is a wonderful lesson on so many levels. I sometimes practice this with various chords. It helps me see the scale notes up ahead before I get to them, and I love the see-saw grabbing of nearby notes with first finger and pinky. I've always tried to use my pinky, and having developed it, it has never left me stranded on the guitar when I need it, which is often. It's good to see another instructor out there who thinks like this!
