Showing an example of how you can incorporate the E minor pentatonic scale into all the chords of the G major scale to get so fancy, emotional chord playing. Let the line between lead and rhythm playing be blurred forever more.

I truly respect the way you teach. I like it how you try to slide in the theory stuff in a way that it is easy to understand, instead of just going through the chords of Wonderwall or whatever. When people ask me for good channels or sites to learn basic theory and to get started with music I always tell them to check out Sean Daniel. This is why I now must ask you to keep up the good work, because my honour and trustworthiness lies in your hands.

I think I just learned more from you in under 8 minutes than I've learned about making music in the past year. Thank you very much!

Why is Sean such a great teacher? I just know that if I want to understand a guitar concept I want to know what He says about it.

Well, thank you very much. You made me play better in one week which I couldn't achieve in 8 years. Thanks again! :)

The way you make the music theory practical ❤️... It's feels good to know why you've learned... And the way they are connected... I truly respect you for selecting such topics.

This video just made things click. That was so fun. I am so grateful you keep doing these videos instead of leaving us for a stand up comedy career. I would however watch those as well.

Wow, this is really an epiphany. I was definitely guilty of thinking of "scales for solos" and "chords for rhythm". I'm really excited to try mixing some knowledge of scales in to make my chord playing more interesting. Thanks for the great channel Sean!

When you first pick up a guitar this is the type of stuff you want to learn how to do. Thank you.

Interesting stuff. This is kind of what I discovered a few months back with hammer-ons but only in the standard form (not moving around). Truly, I didn't know why it sounded good, but knew that it did. Now I understand it's in a scale and I can move around a bit more. This is really a great tip!

Facial expressions. Yes. You are now adding that visual aspect and an air of would be intelligence. Love it.

I agree with your well balanced thoughts on what people should be playing. I’m learning from scratch and I’m keeping my mind open to all growth potentials.
