Common Beginner Fighting Mistakes in Fortnite

Mistake 1: Poor defensive positioning
Don't peak from the left-hand window
Play the range when at a HP disadvantage
Avoid 50/50 edits when low on HP
Mistake 2: Not creating space in a single box
Create three interconnected boxes in an L shape to have more space to work with
Avoid getting stuck in a single box with no space to back up
Mistake 3: Bad awareness
Don't tunnel vision on a single player
Always do 360s to check surroundings
Be aware of other players in the area
Mistake 4: Not tracking opponents
Use visual and audio cues to track opponents
Don't get caught out by opponents' plays
Mistake 5: Boxing in wood
Avoid boxing in wood as it's easy to break and makes you an easy target
Use wood only for mid-rotates or building up to a fight
Mistake 6: Not knowing when to disengage
Disengage from fights that are taking too long or are not worth the risk
Don't get too attached to winning every fight
Mistake 7: Fighting in congested areas
Avoid fighting in areas with many players rotating in

Ememys will take you middle wall and 2 pieces in your box if they have the chance

4:53 the thing that annoys me is the he got no cones in hes box. the opponent could have easily prefired him when making that 50/50 and place a stair in the guys box.
