Saar Offensive is the name given to a French assault on western Germany during World War II from September 7–16, 1939. In September, 1939, German forces were largely concentrating on fighting and defeating Poland, which at that stage was still an active adversary. While they were so engaged, French soldiers made a somewhat hesitant advance on to German soil. The attack was not a success, and by the end of the month, the French forces had been withdrawn.

hey that is amazing can you also make a video of the french/american invasion of the saarland in 1944 was i believe because i never saw something about it same with the city of saarbrücken if there was even a battle the city was destroyed but i never heard of a battle did they take over the city just like that or did still a battle happen there or somewhere else in the saarland?
