Although this is a stretch, it is definitely possible that the allies could have crushed Germany in 1939. Germany had almost their whole army in Poland because they counted on the Allies being too chicken to help poland at all.

However, USSR had already attacked Poland in the end of the September and German had enough time to adjust his army into Western Frount

if it happened, world war 2 would’ve been the shortest world war ever.

As someone else said, I really doubt Austria would have rebelled, they were very happy to be part ot Grossdeutshland after all. Also, lol British landing? I thought they were mainly going to be fighting in France invaidng into Germany with the French army.

~~If Saar offensive was successful~~ If Saar offensive happened at all. Irl the french troops moved like 5km into german territory and decided to stop, although 80% of the german army was invading Poland. This is fact.

Just so you know there wasn't a saar offensive, just some troop killing some time. That's because of the french politics that was couragious of their magino line. That's the funny war period.

Honestly Austria probably wouldn't have rebelled its alright

Austria wouldnt have rebelled also you forgot about the soviet invasion of poland from the east which would have freed up german troops to relocate to the west

I don't know why, but the British landings near Bremen might have been a bit difficult/out right impossible, because of the high canal prospect and the increase in naval spending.
But still, great vid

It’s comforting to know that the allies did have a chance of invading Germany at the start of ww2 and actually winning. Most of the work is done by France there, it tells me that France wasn’t actually weak in ww2, they were strong. They just fell from the Germans having better strategy’s.

I have no idea why the Russians didn't invade Poland in this version of the timeline, but oh well

this is very unlikely even if it happened as the ussr would of also declared war. so the offesnive would of been halted within days
