The people buying all the stuff that says "Keto" on the front of the packaging are the same people that are saying "I tried Keto, but it didn't work for me".

I agree. Keep it simple, real food. Meat, fish, eggs, salads, and nuts. Short list grocery shopping.

Absolutely, Dr Berry! When my friends ask me about how I eat, I tell them 1 ingredient food. Also, not to buy any supposed "Keto" items at the grocery store. After 5 years I eat Ketovore leaning to BBBE, lots of protein. I also do Intermittent Fasting at least 18 hrs a day.
At 72, it's been amazing. No meds either.
Edit: I was blessed to get a YouTube video from Dr Berry about Keto and Intermittent Fasting in the Summer of 2019 and it has made a healthy difference in my life. Thank you, Dr Berry. 🙏 💪 ♥

I've been disciplined using a high fat, high protein, very little carb routine for a solid 10 months with unbelievable results. I chose this to hopefully clear up some health issues and tone up. I was diagnosed with NASH from a fatty liver. I eat Ribeye, Porterhouse, T-bone, New York, Sirloin, Salmon and tuna, however I do add avocado to every meal...about 1800-2200 calories a day. I have dropped from 243 to 177...66lbs in less than 6 months !! It has had unintentional benefits that I didn't consider. I no longer snore...I sleep at least 6.5 hours undisturbed, no more bags under my eyes, my skin is vibrant, my blood pressure is normal, psoriasis is gone, inflammation gone, my energy is great. I got my blood work done and my liver enzymes are normal and things look dramatically better. I don't know if I've fully healed but I feel so much better and know that I'm on the right path. I wish health and well-being for all. Give it a try and give yourself a opportunity change.

Yes. It was bad enough with the Atkins-branded stuff that Dr. Atkins would have mostly disapproved of, but keto everything is getting bizarre.

So very true! It's almost as if these food companies literally have no one on staff to tell them how dirty their products are! The ingredients are scary on most keto labeled processed foods.

Marketing is devious. For one example, many products trying to appeal to health conscious shoppers will have a wholesome looking label, very often containing the color orange. Not only must one read labels, one must ALWAYS read labels because one never knows when the recipe or ingredients change. Those things are not announced, especially if substituting cheaper or harmful ingredients that weren’t there before.

It’s so true. I’ve seen many keto influencers on YT who just cannot master their food addiction because of the so called keto foods. They lose and regain the same 10 pounds and cannot make their goals. I had to stop these keto foods completely to actually stop my food cravings. Whole real food is the way to go in my case at least. 73 pounds down and reversed my metabolic syndrome among other improvements.

I occasionally have low carb tortillas, and low carb bread, and I'm still losing. But I totally don't want to be dependent on them. It's just a way to have a favorite without throwing me out of ketosis. I love Dr Berry tho!! Thank you for your very informative videos!! ❤❤❤

I don't use any of the "keto" products. They're not Keto. My issue with Keto is trying to keep the balance of how much carbs I'm taking in. I'm still working towards being full carnivore.

Buying into the sugar-free keto dupe of all the garbage that contributed to metabolic syndrome and obesity nearly derailed me staying low carb. What got me right was going back to basics…… marbled steak, omelettes, homemade sausage, chicken thighs with crispy skin, some green veg, and berries. I even overdo the nuts so those are a rare add.

Thankyou, people need to hear it, its like low fat cheese low fa/ baloney skinny popcorn worst of all diet pop sugar free, pop candy ect . Just like keto products all the same.

I would NEVER buy or EAT anything labeled KETO from the stores. If it is bagged, boxed and has a barcode DO NOT EAT IT!!
