This is based on my experience with fuji cameras. Small correction as one of you pointed out - the XT5 and XH2s does not have the same sensor. I meant the XH2. Thanks for the correction.

I have the X-T5 and X-S20. Both are excellent.

I have a photography tour coming up in January. I only had an X-T2 and wouldn't feel comfortable traveling without two cameras. I chose a used X-T4 with battery grip. Weather seal and battery life were the major factors.

I don‘t agree with the X-T5 being in the mid-range. It‘s a top range camera in my opinion. I have owned the X-H2 for a long time but had to sell it, because it was more fun to shoot with the X-T5.

Daniel I prefer a tilting screen for street photography. The flip out screen is better for video but makes the camera more obvious for street photography. I do like the flip out screen when in portrait mode. The camera has the feel of a TLR camera. I understand this is a personal choice.

I just purchased a X100VI for the IBIS. I too prefer the 26MP sensor size. Even 16MPs are OK with me. I don’t crop my images so I don need 40MPs. I don’t need the larger file size.

Rather than buying new cameras I wait until I can buy them used. I just bought a XE2 for $360. Maybe I spent a little too much for it. I like my bodies small and lightweight. The same for my lenses.

The X-H2s doesn’t have the same sensor as the X-T5

I would disagree that 26 is enough megapixels. When doing street photography 40 is much better, as I can crop in a lot more and not lose quality! The only thing I’m still waiting on is them fixing the auto focus firmware with an update! Waiting, waiting waiting? Maybe they’ll just wait till they get the XT6 out. 🤫

Do not update the firmware on the xt5/xh2/s! The autofocus is absolutely broken on the latest updates.
