Just moved into a new home and used this video to reset the keypad code. These instructions were difficult to come by. This video had all the information I need down to the opener ID which I can clearly see options 1-9 by pausing the video. Thank you so much!

First time ever commenting on a YouTube video... But this was exactly what I was looking for. Inherited a house with this keypad (no Enter button) and this was the only video I could find that gave me ALL of the steps. Finding the Opener ID was critical. THANK YOU!

Your video was the only one who mentioned having to possibly hit the zero two times. So that was a total of three with the zero at end. Then two more. And finally it worked. Omg I’ve been at this for over a hour. And I had to re program my car hand helds’
cuz other videos messed up the garage opener it’s self LOL.

The instructions I downloaded said that Sears Craftsman with a red/orange button was a type 4. Glad I watched your video and saw it was actually type 2…

Also no mention in my instructions of hitting the last button twice during the test…🙄

After trying a dozen times to program this keypad, I figured it was broke and should return. But before I did I decided to remove the battery for a few seconds, replace it and try programming it again. It worked that time.

Thank you so much. Your video solved my problem. Direct to the point. Great. 1. Hold #* together until light stops blinking. 2. Enter four digit code of your own creation for example 1234. 3. Then enter garage machine code (year manufactured dependent) for example 3 follow by #. 4. Next climb ladder and press learn button once and light comes on. 5. Then enter your self created four digit 1234 plus 0 and light blinks or you hear two clicks indication of acceptance of your self created code. Henceforth, press 0 to control movement up and down. All said and done, in future when you come home, just type on your keypad 1234 and 0, bingo, it opens and when existing home through the garage input 1234 and 0 to say bye bye home.
