This is a heavily underrated clip. Thanks for sharing the insights and having a laugh about it. Honestly, I love thinking about things this way. The ego, skepticism is so deeply ingrained in me, yet I love just stepping back and having a laugh at how silly it is that I’m so emotional about being objective which I can never be.

The first sentences made me laugh.😂 You are absolutely right. Rationality wouldn't work without feelings. It's always connected to an emotional, feeling or experience. Nothing is rational for its own sake.

Great! Such knowledge is so important but why nobody is teaching us in school? Nearly 100 years after Kurt Gödels proof in his incompleteness theorem scientists are still calling us stupid idiots. That is exactly what the theory describes. Everybody is part of the universe but not everybody will accept that small fact.

I call the need to be rational or the problem of being confronted with irrationality with a "tension of the mind" which is an unpleasant experience (feeling if you want). People want to release this tension by "solving" a problem or acting "rational".

Logics are far more important than emotions. If you’re a smoker, just quit. That’s the logical thing to do.

Why are you incapable of seeing that what caused one to be rational is different from being rational itself. What caused one to be rational is not so appreciable that's why they didn't stay there and chose to be rational. Nobody can stay where they were in this regard. It's uncomfortable and tensioning. It's, unlike in the video, is not something that one can deal with unless you get out of it by being rational.

The Divine Intellligence of God guides the rationality and mind of man to Truth. I don't trust any human on metaphysics. God is my Only Authority on Truth. Everything not coming directly from God who is the Only Absolute Truth is not Truth, and mostly falsehood.
