I think he’s mixing reason and rationality. You could be empirically incorrect but rationally reasonable. So no, he’s still wrong that emotions lead to answers. They lead to inner beliefs that must be confirmed through the empirical and then retested consistently to be true. So emotions do line up with rationality because they’re based on personal beliefs. (Personal logic is a belief. Empirical logic is a non-falsifiable factor)
