Today I’m going to cover something natural you can try to help put your autoimmune disease in remission.

Recent research has found a huge link between EBV (Epstein-Barr virus) and many autoimmune disorders. 90% of the population has had EBV.

EBV has the ability to infect certain immune cells, reprogram them, and alter their function. EBV makes a protein that can bind and control your genes, triggering an autoimmune disorder if the right environment occurs.

The environment is related to your epigenetics. Whether or not a person will develop an autoimmune disease will depend on how strong the person’s immune system is and how great their external stress is.

Top triggers of autoimmune diseases:
• Gut radiation
• EBV
• Stress
• Low vitamin D
• Low zinc
• Dysbiosis
• Drugs
• GMO foods
• Stress of pregnancy

A natural plan for autoimmune diseases:
1. Put EBV in remission:
• Lower your stress
• Increase your vitamin B1
• Increase your potassium and magnesium
• Increase your vitamin D
• Increase your zinc
• Do aerobic exercise

2. Handle dysbiosis by taking probiotics (start with small amounts) and consuming fermented vegetables

3. Do a 48-hour fast every two weeks

4. Lower your inflammation:
• Do fasting
• Take vitamin D
• Get plenty of omega-3 fatty acids
• Do the keto diet

5. Take PMG by Standard Process Inc.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s a few months after the loss of my son. I do believe grief has a physical toll as well as emotional.

I went into remission with Ankylosing Spondylitis after 2 years on Humira. I am now off all meds. I reduced stress and eating better, cut my work hours and am in NO pain anywhere. The rheumatologist said I am in remission and I can be on monitor status! Yeah

I totally believe this! Grief and shock - be it a relationship breakdown, terrible job stress or bereavement.

I have had multiple sclerosis since 2011 when I was a complete vegetable for lack of a better word and could not talk, walk, see, feed myself bath myself anything. I had over 60 legions in all of the terrible places to get them.

After a long stay in the hospital, then as an in and then out patient at Stan Cassidy rehab Center and of being consistent with my plant based nutrition, physical activity, booting ANYTHING that stresses me out in life, power of belief and just trying to maintain a healthy overall, I can say I’ve been in remission for years!

I can’t stress enough not to wait until you regret neglecting your health to take care of it. The blessing here is that I was 100% abusing my body when MS happened and if it didn’t, I’d probably be dead today.

It was so hard but it’s really made me a way better person. Anyways, take care of yourself.

My poor mom is almost 92. She has suffered for 21 years with RA. It started with a bang. Woke up one morning just red and swollen all over. It happened right after my sister died of a horrendous type of cancer. It was a terrible time for the whole family but of course for a mother to lose a child… I know now the stress is what did it. Both myself and my other 2 sisters developed autoimmune diseases within 3 years of losing our sister. We had all been extremely healthy our whole lives. Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles living til late 80s and 90s. We never worried about health at all. Stress is really a factor and will do you in! Thanking God Almighty for Dr. Berg. He has already changed my life. Follow his recommendations folks, you will get better.

Standard Process’s “Cardio Plus” gave my mother an extra 10 years of life on this planet. She had cardiomyopathy (deteriorating heart muscle). Before Cardio Plus? Her LVEF (left ventricle ejection fraction) was down to 25%. Normal is around 50. After several months on the nutritional? Mom’s LVEF was normal. Her cardiologist was shocked…and disbelieved that nutrition had anything to do with this. However? My mother lived another ten years (to age 90). Thanks to her chiropractor, who recommends and offers Standard Process products. All Glory to God (with gratitude to His faithful Christian biochemist, Dr. Royal Lee, founder and developer of Standard Process.)

I had many of the situations you mentioned in this video. I got my major stomach issue 2 years ago after the passing of my mother. I also at the time had an EXTREMELY stressful job with a narcissistic boss that would cause multiple arguments a week. Lastly I sat right next to a microwave that was used for the work forces breaks. I quit 1 year ago. Walk every night before bed. Eat much healthier and FINALLY after about 2.5 years I am feeling better. Thanks for all of your videos!

Dr. Berg, you probably won't see this message, but you made so many good videos. They cover a lot of different topics and are understandable to a lay person like myself. You put a lot of time into them, your animations and descriptions are super awesome. I know you have a team, but I'm impressed that you persisted for such a long time and provided us with a quality work. Congradulations on the work well done and keep up the good work for your devoted viewers.

I was hit with something a year ago. Dr still clueless because they want to pass me around and make me suffer before I can see the right kind of doc. I’m slowly fixing whatever is myself. So thank you!

Thank you for this. Regarding remission: My grandmother had spontaneous remission of RA. She exercised like an extreme maniac every day (changing her type of exercises) . She also meditated and prayed daily. She did Pilates and yoga. She walked every morning and usually every evening and some times a week did a long daily walk. She spent no less than three to six hours everyday on these activities, often more. It was a full-time job however she her RA went into remission. Her food was normal for her generation. Our food is much much much worse now so we need to take special care with food as well to get to the normal of the previous generation.

Respected sir,
I am suffering from hypothyroidism, also an autoimmune disease. I am obese weighing 200 lbs. By doing IF, from 25th June this year. In two and half months, I reduced 16lbs. Feasting window is now only 4 hours. Feeling relaxed, more energetic, more young and I am just enjoying it.
Dr. Berg great videos, as I consider you a motivational speaker. Keep doing this practice to serve humanity.
Regards

My mom came down with Hashimoto's in her 40s. I came down with Hashimoto's thyroid in my 40s!! Since allopathic medicine wasn't cutting it, I researched it on a holistic level. I found out an allergy to wheat was triggering it. After going wheat free, in two weeks all symptoms went into remission. In 6 weeks, I had lost a total of 7 lbs with doing nothing. Sometimes autoimmune is related to a food allergy.

I've been chronically ill for 10 years.
Bedridden for about 2 of those years. Arthritis, goiter, obesity, depression, anxiety, type 2 diabetes, the list goes on and on.
The best I've felt was a change in diet but I fall off the wagon easy.
It's a wicked cycle.
Thank you for your awesome videos. God bless you abundantly.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's when I was 10 years old. This is the same time that my migraines started. I wasn't kissing anyone yet so something else must have triggered my disease. I do thank you for helping people get well. I have started drinking celery juice like you have advised. I also eat brazil nuts for the selenium. You are my favorite doctor to watch. I do not trust most doctors after what we all just went through.

I contracted EBV from mono when I was around 22 years old. It stayed dormant for 30 years. Then at the age of 52 I was rundown, and I also received a TDap booster. The next day I felt horrible. I felt like I had mono all over again. I am guessing that the TDap booster along with being run down triggered it. The doctor could see that the EBV reactivated again. 30 years later! I was able to put it back into remission with lots of sleep, zinc, lysine and monolaurin. I was already taking plenty of D3/K so I kept that up. I hope the EBV stays dormant!

I got hypothyroidism /hashimoto exactly when I lost my husband to heart attack (he was running marathons/was fit, he was 51), I was 50. So, yes, grief is a huge factor. With special nutrition, exercise, staying away from stress, rigorous discipline - I am keeping it under control. Thank you for these videos, they are helpful to know the reasons and how it all connects.
