I don't know what is more impressive with Eli's videos.... The precision and details that he provides or he speaks fast but clear. Never do I hear him say Thanks Eli

As a Judo player I can say that your technique is solid. Quality breakdown per usual.

This is the most practical hip throw demonstration I've seen online. Also notice how he gets his waist line below the other person's. I've heard from other teachers that's important if the other guy is bigger than you.

Nice. Was trying this on a big boy and it wasn’t working so well. I was forgetting to pull that tricep in and looking up to the ceiling

Great coaching, I'm glad you came to Northfield Ohio, and you show some good moves

In classic wrestling, a very similar move is very common called a “head and arm” instead of grabbing the body and tricep, you grab around the back of the head and the tricep.

As a Judoka, I say that your technique is very nice! I would like to add that torso should be wide , hikite hand must challenge constantly the pulling hand . If the opponent hip out try immediately harai gosh I! Oss coach 🤙🤙🤙🤙

i love the quick mini vids....i remember back in the days of the 90's, on a 50 dollar video the FBI (ohhh....scary) anti-piracy warning was about 30 seconds.

Think this was the first throw I learned in judo. Slightly different arm positions and you have an o goshi

As a judo man, gotta point out that all judo throws are solid but don't try these in competition until you can hit them with your eyes closed (meaning at the right moment and perfect timing), otherwise you risk being in a very bad position and getting thrown yourself depending where and how deep you are in the failed throw attempt. That's why the good old single doubles are way less technical and easier to master and safer (to some extent).
