This reminds me of a comp I went to. We had so few competitors that there was enough time to add an event: one handed. I then had to learn algs one handed during lunch, so that I could compete in an event I had never practiced in.

reminds of the time there was skewb at a comp i went to and there werent enough competitors in there so i did a last second sign up and someone gave me their spare skewb and i taught myself how to solve it during the actual solves

I was surprised how easy Pyraminx is. Within an hour of learning my PB was 21 seconds.

Does this mean you'll be experimenting with various wca puzzles now? Because that would be awesome! I myself always wanted to try out all the wca puzzles for the fun of the variety, and seeing the same from my favorite cubing channel is definitely exciting.

I use my own algs where I have memorized about 7 cases after solving the first layer and I have under 5 move algorithms for each of them. My pb is 3.491

omg... i learned pyra last year when i first started speedcubing, i now avg sub 13 with little to no practice, you learned yesterday, and beat my pb avg by 2.15 seconds

Btw, thanks for lending out your gravity grip. After using it for awhile, what did you think? For me it just made my fingers feel weird and didn't do anything.
And I hope you stop doing COLL on 2x2, it hurts me lmao
