I learn to solve a Rubik’s cube in UNDER 30 seconds in 31 days.

Methods I used:
1) Beginners
2) CFOP 4LLL

First solve: 1:03
1min 30sec Plateau: 1:32
40sec Plateau: 4:33
Sub 30 solve: 5:32

PB: 24.09

FYI: the seconds in my last solve is going up by frames per second so only up to 24, not the total 99 milliseconds

Just wanted to say in case you want to continue to learn all the other algorithms start by learning full pll, because they save you more time (generally plls are longer than olls) and because there are only 21 algs, and you already know 6-7 of them.

I’ve been speed cubing for almost 2 years, and I must say you did a great job. Just a note, if you want to continue this then there will be many more plateaus like that. It is not an easy path, but a very rewarding one. Personally, I average about 17 seconds after 2 years, and I quit for a while because I wasn’t improving. The important part is to keep going and not give up, you did a great job!

This was a great video, reaaally like the part from 5:02 up, great editing! I had a cube for a month in 2013, and I was also averaging a little under 30 seconds, just bought a cube again that will arrive in a few weeks. My favorite thing about cubing is Blindfold solving, you should try it, not as hard as it seems but still challenging enough to be very rewarding.

2 weeks into learning 2 look oll/pll, 2 months cubing overall. Hit 50 second pb with beginner method and then made the switch to oll/pll and intuitive ffl. Getting faster now that I know all my algs, but sub 30 is so impressive for that time frame. Congrats, and thanks for the confidence!
