The FALL: Psychology of the EGO and Thy Self

In this video, I will explore the psychology of the subjective and objective nature of consciousness. The EGO and Self are terms used by Carl Jung to grasp the reality of the psyche... a space which still stumps scientists today.

Most individuals, whether it is the scientist or the seeker, becomes fixated on the EGO and its world in creation. BUT, the other side, the spirit which provides life its life, is left for the few.

These are the mystics, philosophers, spiritual and religious types. Those who do not "fit in the system of the world".

So, I took a solo trip for a week into the wilderness in Maine (Acadia National Park) in order to put thoughts down on the reality of consciousness.
The duality and its oneness. The whole that it is.

In this video I'll explore the Jungian terms, EGO and Self, as well as the complexes and archetypes consciousness orders itself through. We'll also look at the 'medium' who is affected by the Self and EGO, as well as affects the EGO. Finally, I'll explain why a fall for the EGO, and not DEATH, is the way to any sense of awakening or enlightenment.

At the end of the video, I'm curious to your answer to this question...

Is the structure of our world providing consciousness the means to unfold its innate intelligence, that same intelligence in us all that gives life its life?

This truly moved me to tears. The revelations that i know to be true you put into words that give old understanding new breath and fresh sight. I felt as if i was learning about the self, Ego, consciousness, and the unconscious for the first time again.

With that i have a new understanding of how the Ego and all that birth out of it starts in the formless potential of the self which pulls from the collective unconscious. Which for me only again strengths the notion that we are all formless potential energy until differentiation(Ego) takes its shape.

One of your best vids yet . Sorry I missed you back a few months ago but something came up and I was unable to do the live feed . Your illustrations especially with the bow was an excellent visual demonstration of the unconscious penetrating and disappearing into itself. I think many who study this work of Carl Jung will use it again in the future. I think when a person begins to awaken they may go through a phase of reflection before they capture the arrows of the soul . I’ve definitely experienced the union of souls before and thus have a reference to work on but I’ll have to say this is a work and one that for me I must practice all the time in order to grow . I’ve always said a part of me had to die which was the ego conscious in order for a new one to be born . In other words the illusion of self which I identified as me was an abstract character or personality that was a faulty construct. Once I was outside of it and was able to see it at is it was I was given an opportunity to grow a new one based off of that separation from it . These days I’m continually either reflecting or catching arrows all the time and building the character or person God intended me to be . Again thanks for the great work and video. Maine is an amazing place I have to go back there someday soon .

I listened to this while on a hike. I had to stop several times to cry and then to scream. I have been reading a lot of Jung lately and this video pulled a lot of it together. I can’t say thank you enough for this video, I feel it at a cellular level and it is calling me to a journey I have long put off. But as you said our modern way of life is a propaganda and is only good at making one sick. Hello Joseph, I had a very similar experience, like 40 years ago. I was driving 60 miles an hour in a French freeway and suddenly, I lost control ( it was about 3 Am in the morning. )I remember the car going out, I told the passengers of the cars, we are going to die and suddenly everything slow dow and after a brief moment, we end up like nothing happen !
The three of us remember it but cannot understand what happen that night ? When I tell that story, nobody really believe me !
