Glossy display is not for me, but I like my old elitbook very much. Hope there will be also a mini led matt display

This is a very promising and premium laptop from HP. Definitely looking forward to the full review Andrew! From what we've seen so far in the sneak preview, it's got a very bright and gorgeous 2.8K OLED Touch display, pretty good port selection, great webcam as well as clear audio quality, minimal screen wobble and great keyboard! The HP EliteBook X G1a with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX Pro 375 seems like a very noteworthy offering from HP that definitely needs to be checked into once it is officially released!! I don't know why I've never liked touch screens on laptops, I really hate them, they always get fingerprints or can get dirty if you're a little careless + they always come with super reflective screens, almost like a mirror, that's why sometimes I prefer a good quality matte screen to an OLED that is a mirror.

Would love a comparison between the HP Omnibook Flip 14 and the Samsung GalaxyBook5 Pro 360 both with the 256V chip. Really sad can't get either one of them with the 258V, 268V, or 288V, yet at least. I know you can custom order the HP with those but it'll take forever to get them. Guess I just have to wait, I don't think 16 will be enough for me

I wished for Zenbook S14 with AMD, but it doesn't seem like thery're planning it. So this looks as a great alternative - good specs, build, and especially ports - would likely be buying it as M1 Pro replacement in Dec!

If it had a glowing led lighted NYR logo on that it would be amazing (: A bit boring always with those logos on the back. Vaio and the Apple are the coolest brandings around.

Any ideas on pricing? This laptop checks most of the boxes for me but I assume it'll be extra pricey being their EliteBook line. Not sure if I should bother holding out for a December release with Black Friday deals around the corner..

I'm curious to know how good is the keyboard and sound compared to a MacBook Pro 14-inch.

The material and looks make it similar to it but at least this HP modelhas a webcam shutters, something I'm still waiting from Apple and that is to see if their rumored redesign will bring it this time.
