Moments of Valor: Argentina / War Thunder

In honor of Argentina's Independence Day, we are publishing a new cinematic video from the “Moments of Valor” series, dedicated to veterans of the Falklands War.
Also for this occasion, we have prepared a set of themed camouflages for aircraft used in the conflict or in service with the warring parties at that time.

Mi tío cayó en Malvinas, nunca lo conocí pero tuve el honor de hablar con veteranos. Saber que nuestro país los trató para la mierda en su momento por perder la guerra duele, así que ver que son reconocidos hasta en un juego como War Thunder es increíble. Gracias.

An extra fact, military together with a university here, made studies and came to the conclusion that to avoid the radars of the ships they had to fly below 10 meters, the radars detected them at 50 km but with this they shortened the gap to 20 km, for that distance the missiles could not fix and target the Argentine aircraft, the problem is that most of the A4 at that time did not have radio altimeter so they had to use the eye to calculate the height. If anyone wants to see the Malvinas air conflict from the Argentine side I recommend "1982 Malvinas la guerra desde el aire".

soy chileno y creo que de los pocos (por no decir unicos) que no solo no tiene resentimiento por argentina, si no un respeto y admiracion por su valentia y destreza en los momentos mas adversos, perdieron es verdad, nadie lo va a negar, pero perder con honor y admiracion es mejor que una victoria amarga y costosa.

Although Im brazilian, my father was an argentinian paratrooper during the malvinas time and the army civil war that happened shortly after. He fortunately never entered combat, but he always told me of the bravery of the argentinian pilots, who while using old jets managed to create and invent tactics to decieve the eletronics and radars and thus sink the technologically advanced british ships. Also of the mercy and respect both aides had to the other, like how after crashing an enemy harrier the argentinians went searching to rescue the pilot and once found him dead they made a burial and a mass in his honour. My uncle (Argentine, like me) was a combatant in the Malvinas (not Farlklands, MALVINAS, FOREVER.) I would like to show him this video (he is alive, but I am not with him) I love these types of videos or games that are in honor to the Argentine combatants.

Thank you so much War Thunder. This means a lot. My grandad was a pilot of the Hercules C-130 plane in 1982, although he flew a Boeing 737 while carrying soldiers inside of it to Malvinas islands.
