Just a quick tip in case anyone runs into the troubles I had:

1) If your PC is not picking up the tablet when it's in Download mode, try another USB cable and another port. I had to try three different cables until I saw it come up.

2) If you're not seeing the zip files on the right hand side when it's time to install, on the left menu, select "go up a level" then go to external_sd. If it still doesn't show up, go back to the home screen, select "Mount", then hit the box with "Mount SD card". Go back to install, navigate to external_sd on the left and your files should be showing now.

Cant believe i got this to work. only issue i had was flashing "open_gapps-x86-7.1-pico" i had the wrong version, and it failed. The download links on this page doesnt have open_gapps-x86-7.1-pico anymore. I had to do a google search and find a similar version. Once i did that and put it on micro sd card, the tablet couldnt see the sd card anymore, so i pressed power and volume down to restart in recovery mode and then sd card showed up with the correct version "open_gapps-x86-7.1-pico:.
Everything went smooth after that. thanks!

gracias me funciono, solo no me dejaba hacer el reboot después del paso de cargar el archivo twrp en odin pero se soluciono marcado la casiila de auto reboot en odin, saludos

well, for me it was not easy to do that.
the download sites was VERY slow, about 12kbps, i waited about 2 hours to download one of the files.
i found out that i need to have installed Samsung USB driver.
then i copy the files to the SD card.
could not find the files in the card whatever mount and unmount i did.
so i mounted it on internal drive but could not install, needed to wipe again this time manually everything exept the internal storage.
when i installed from the internal memory the installetion got stuck.

anyway - the bottom line - the 10 yr old SD card was corrupted and it worked only when i got the files on new SD card and inserted the card exactly at the time that shown in video - AFTER the main screen appear, and after complete wipe including internal memory.
i saw the rom files and all worked great.

The tablet works great, i tried few reboots - all good. i will update if any issues.

BTW for other people
as a drone pilot this tablet does not suitable to fly drones made by DJI.
the operating system is not 64BIT.

I have done al the steps and the tablet is running the only issue its stuck on the point where you Connect it on WiFi and the tablet starts te search voor a software update u got soms tips and tricks for that ?

Is the "Factory Reset" really enough ? Don´t you need the "Advanced Wipe" like on several other Lineage installations ?

Is there a fix for the low audio ? I already checked the "mixer_paths_0.xml" in etc . Still no improvement in sound . Can you point me to a solution ? Do you have an xml config file you can share to address this issue ? Thanks

So got the update done. But now no wifi connection. It'll act like it will connect but then just revert to "saved" with no actual wifi connection happening. Tried restarting device, resetting network settings, restarting router even though everything else in the house is working. Nothing works. What am I missing?

Need help, after completing the odin process and rebooting the tablet, once I turn it on holding power+volume up to enter the new recovery mode, it just takes me to an Android menu but not the one showing on your video at min 3:20. I have performed all the steps but im facing this issue. What can be done?

Not working Samsung GT-P5210. Same (and newer in the next try) version of odin and the tar.md5 file. Tried on PC and notebook. In Oding the "Added" text don't appear in log. EDIT: Also installed Samsung USB.
