flashing custom roms doesn't needs rooting. unlock bootloader is more than enough and a custom recovery!

Volume down + power button does not work on my phone and I have an LG Stylo 3 by MetroPC. And it's unlocked but not rooted. And I have yet to figure out how to root it. None of those root instructions work. And none of the root apps work. And my USB media transfer has been turned off and I can't get it turned back on. And I already know all about the developer options of usb media transfer. I check that option and it's still not changing. It is just in charge mode only and it won't change. Is there a way to save Android 7 to a micro SD memory card and put the micro SD card in the phone and install Android 7 from the micro sd card completely bypassing the need to connect your phone to your computer? If not there should be. Also I already know about backup and restore. I need to kick everything out and start over with a whole new fresh install of an OS.

I would like to install a custom rom on a really cheap, local android phone (just to try) but I dont see a custom rom designed specifically for the phone (Phone model: Starmobile UP Prime here from Philippines). Question, is it okay to install a custom rom designed for other branded phones (Samsung, LG phones etc.) to the phone?

So I had rooted my Moto E fourth generation and well I had to restart my phone and it got stuck in a boot loop. So on that I accidentally wiped every thing which means it won’t even boot into anything it says bad key. Would anybody know how to fix that?
