I am owner #10, 400 and have been driving my Model 3 for 12 months. My car drives as new and has 24k miles on it. Service has been great. I cracked a tail lense, a mobile repair guy came out in a company Model S, wouldn’t except payment. He even showed me how to replace it myself if I cracked it again. I’ve been driving 51 years and owned many cars, this is by far the best car I have ever owned.

Teslas are really low bar vehicles. People will pay for an expensive vehicle that doesn't work majority of the time and EVs suck in the cold.

I really believe there is HUGE upside potential, imagine when all the reports are about the amazing quality, the massive shipments and the power grids everywhere. Grandpa told me to buy low sell high!

Wow CNBC! When Tesla was on top you did not report so excitingly but when it's down you are so enthusiastic! Disgusting to see leeches like you trying so hard bring down a MAN and his hardworking team! you guys should be ashamed!!! Media should stand for truth and what's better for humanity, not to manipulate truth to serve your own selfish, short sighted and harmful in the long run agenda! Don't you guys understand that we are all in the same team called humanity? So petty, you are unnecessarily unkind!!! Shame shame shame !

Who in the F&*K uses consumer reports when you buy a car, so OLD School. Go drive a model 3 and give me one reason not to buy it, oh, of course if you want to buy a less safe car to carry your family and children in.

Tesla fanboys starting to sound like cult members... Relax already lots of cars get this rating in a model year and bounce back the following year. If the stock drops a little buy more!!!! Use this to an advantage

Most established car companies (let alone start-ups) can only dream about producing a vehicle with the Tesla's performance, safety, self-driving capabilities, features and customer satisfaction... and it's electric!

With the mostly cosmetic issues associated with early production resolved, CR's downgrade rating already looks obsolete.

Tesla ranks almost dead-last on Consumer Reports reliability list: It’s all about who pays consumer reports and who doesn’t.
Don’t we call that blackmail

Porsche #3!! ... their full EV ..the Taycan coming out very soon, with 800 volt architecture, leapfrogging Tesla drivetrain tech.

CNBC has reliability issues. How come Consumer Report doesn't downgrade them?

@ CBNC - I Cannot in good Concience RECOMMEND CNBC for Information & NEWS, they are the LEAST TRUSTWORTHY.

Tesla has issues, yes. But hands down, it's still ranked with the highest owner satisfaction, according to CR. That means it's just that much better than an ICE vehicle, even with its flaws. Lol.

Consumer Reports Auto Team is incompetent, maybe they haven't been paid to praise the vehicle, since they praise many crappy cars.

The fact that CR labels the model 3 as un reliable because of cosmetics says more about Consumer Reports lack of credibility than the reliability of Tesla.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with our Model 3.

i bought a 2nd hand model x and tesla have spent 5k repairing it under warranty. and everytime it is repaired under warranty i get a top of the line car worth much more than my car as a loaner... I wish for more warranty claims.

For years Consumer Reports has never rated the Corvette very high, yet it’s a vehicle that still sells well, owners love and enjoy driving . And apparently now it’s the same with the Model 3. Are there issues, of course, but what first production run vehicles don’t have issues. However, they sell well, owners love and enjoy driving them...just like the Corvette. Consumer Reports really doesn’t have a clue.
