Correction: I have Lucid Air pure and it does have heated steering wheel.
I love my Lucid Air Pure, i recently drove to White Mountains, NH from Hoboken, NJ and had to charge only once. Also, we drove up to Mt. Washington summit which was a very steep 8 miles climb that used up 45 miles worth range to climb 8 miles, however it's regenerative braking did charge back 32 miles upon descend.

I bought my 2024 Air Pure back in Summer and it has been incredible. Lucid was the only car company that could get me out of my Porsche Cayman, which I still think is one of the best sports cars of all time. I'm a Porsche guy, but Lucid has really impressed me and I'm excited to see how the Gravity release goes.

I am still not looking to spend anywhere close to $75k on any car. I've never purchased a new car and I think it's crazy the prices we see on cars these days. Yes, it's an EV, I get it. That changes the equation a little bit but I'll continue to purchase used cars. My 2014 still looks and drives great.

To be honest NOT having stuff like soft close doors and powered open frunk is an advantage for me. I'm sick of cars adding complexity and points of failure for features that really don't improve the ownership experience at all. I place a premium on simplicity and reliability. Lucid seems way better in that aspect.

Lucid Vehicles will be switching to the Tesla supercharger network and NACS port starting in 2025. Lucid vehicles from before then with CCS ports will be able to access the Tesla/NACS network with an adapter starting 2025. Pretty disappointed this wasn’t mentioned in the video as it was announced a WHILE ago.

Edit: The Lucid Gravity and Post-2025 Airs will ship with NACS but previous models using an adapter would only be able to charge at 50KW at Tesla superchargers due to voltage differences.

I leased a 2024 Lucid air pure in July when they had $20, 000 off on a lease deal. So I got an $82, 000 car for $62, 000. Several software updates, the car continues to impress and improve.
I got the comfort inconvenience package, which includes 14 way seats, heated and cooling seat, heated steering wheel and soft close doors

One big thing is the difference in lease costs. You can lease a Lucid Air for significantly less per month than a Model S.
