Its a great phone! I bought it in October 2023, still using it and will keep using it till it´s software support runs out, then i will upgade to an S27 or an S28. I can definintly recommend this one! But if you care about updates like me, i dont recommend it anymore, i recommend an S24 for it´s 7 years of support

Im a fan of the base galaxy, s23 is indeed a great phone. What made me upgrade to s24 is the battery life.

Bought S23+ few weeks ago and its such a great phone, battery is still very good, about 8 hours, sometimes even 9 hours. I paid 400 usd and it have 1 year warranty as well.

My friend had an S23 that he wasn’t using. He let me get it for $100. I use it as a work phone only, as I have a iPhone 16 pro, but this is my first android since 2010 and I do appreciate how good this is. I can say I appreciate iPhones and androids now lol

50mp photos are ruined after the updates. When i click photo in 50mp there is random yellowish tone in the photo. There is no fix till now

For me, the real upgrades with the S24 vs S23, are the software support and the peak brightness (with the S24 Exynos model): battery wise, they're about the same since the Exynos is way less optimized than the Snapdragon and it consumes more, also, they perform about the same in intensive tasks... for me, if you want to buy a "budget" phone, go for the S23, if you want more software updates and you're willing to spend some more, at this point I think you should choose an S25 instead

0:47 Actually, the fingerprints does not show at all when you have a lighter color. I have the cream variant with wine gold sides and I prefer this more than the flat sides of my friend's S24. (It actually even hides the yellowing on most of my clear cases lol)

I also heavily agree on loving the compact size. I miss compact phones sooo bad!

I feel like an s23 with snapdragon 2 fresh out of the box would still be one of the fastest phones on the market. Even an s22 would be fast out of box. Its more on how do devices hold up with updates. S23 wont have support as long as s24fe will. Id recommend that model.
