Very very nice guitar mate 👍 I have had a Gordon Smith graduate built for me in Manchester. I since sold it and massively regret it… At the moment I’m toying about with getting another built, but this time a Tele in the same sort of style of Robben Ford’s, but with more modern appointments like a 9.5” fretboard radius.

Very nice guitar and video. The lume and the heel contour is a great idea. Noticed that you have an unusual hybrid picking style. I learnt to play a similar style having watched John Farrar use this technique in the 70's.

When I play a Strat, type of guitar
My picking hand, ends up hitting the Volume knob, turning it up or down
So I don't buy one,
Love the sound of a strat,
But all my guitars 🎸 are
Les Paul type
And I do love my les Paul
And my Riviera play it most...

When your playing cover tunes.
I hear / see you stay pretty direct proficiency in the songs 🎵
When is it alright to take the song over, and make it your own.

Hi Bobby. I've just found your channel searching LH gordon smith S type. The content is great. I'll be watching all the old episodes. I also have a love for Gordon Smith. Did you get a gatsby? I got one just before Xmas via merchant City music. It's better than anything else I've got including a Suhr Pete Thorn and a custom shop fender tele. I highly recommend the Gatsby. I went for the Launch model in the Rockingham Green. I'll be reassessing the guitar collection and ordering an S type. As soon as I can.

Looks and sounds lush Bobby, could have sworn you were right-handed lol, left and right?
The only thing I would have changed on a custom, and I know people think I'm mad for this, is the blob on the headstock, I much prefer Ibanez type of headstock shape...sounds perfect though 👌🏻
