Gordon SMith guitars are in a class of their own at this price point. I was personally responsible for pushing their production of Classic S & T models and we have some models which are out of this world - as is the one you are demonstrating. I have followed the journey for over 20 years and been selling them all the while barring a couple of years where the quality fell through the flaw - before Jon retired. Since Doug from Auden took over they have gone into another stratosphere quality wise yet retaining all the character of Gordon Smith build ( just without the home made rather than hand made quirks!!!). Amazing times for Gordon Smith and so proud to work with them

love the guitar playing, good to see gs going strong in uk even tho john is retired. i worked with john for a couple of years and was gordons apprentice in the eighties when he made gordy guitars.. just starting up on my own now.

Guau! If I ordered a guitar for the specs that I like, I would order the exact same one as you. S type, HSS, Pink Shell, Roasted Maple neck, that's exactly what I like! Sounds absolutely great, and yes, the Suhr has been my aspirational guitar, however, is so very expensive although it's a special guitar so would do the effort eventually, but after seeing Gordon Smith, definitively I think quality-wise both are at the same level, but the price of this is just amazing! Great video, thanks for sharing and amazing guitar, loved it!

years ago I brought a Gordon smith explorer. had to wait nearly 5 months for it because of the backlog but when it came it was just great. unfortunately, I was too daft to appreciate it and subsequently sold it to a chap in Holland... there is not a day that goes by where I don't regret it! im a fender tele guy these days but, well...

Nice guitar and demo but I wanted to hear more clean sounds without effects being added.

Looks amazing and sounds amazing clean but with your Distortion it sounds horribly nasal, fuzzy, whinny and like it’s going thru a DOD YJM signature pedal.
I bought a GS G60 in 1995 and it’s a great guitar. Great value for a handmade axe. Never liked a humbucker on a Strat, in fact they’re banned from my house!
