Sadly I know someone who was actually in a climbing accident like that with his buddy. Guy was leading (just like the person in the movie) while the person I know was belaying on the ground. His friend was setting in the anchors to the rock so they could climb a route. The friend made a misstep and fell, which would normally be fine since he had anchors already set into the rock below him, but unfortunately he did not set the anchors in securely enough, and so 3 of the anchors came out in quick succession with his fall from his weight. The person I know tried to stop the fall (he had SERIOUS rope burn on his hands when I saw him next I have never seen hands that torn up since then), but sadly it wasn’t enough. Despite being an ER doctor and being trained for trauma like this, his friend died on impact, leaving being a wife and two young kids. That incident haunted him for years after that, and I think is the reason he ultimately gave up that kind of rock climbing.

When I found out Free sole climbing was a thing, that was the day that I realized humanity can never be happy because we’re in a constant toxic relationship with danger, we fear it but yern for it at the same time

I watched this film 10 minutes ago and I have to say I'm really upset. I've seen quite a lot and I love horror films, but the fact that my hands were sweating the whole time I watched this film and I sometimes had to look away to calm my heartbeat, something like that has never happened to me before. (am I acrophobic?) 🤪🤯 good film for sure

This movie was almost unwatchable for me, I'm so scared of heights. I ended up watching videos of the professional climbers that maintain these towers and they use hooks while climbing the ladders, that made me feel better somehow.

I absolutely hate heights, can’t do rollercoaster, can barely go up the stairs without feeling like I’m gonna fall, can’t climb ladders, step stools, chairs, cabinets, and anything past 4 feet is a no go for me basically with that being said this movie was not scary for me. The only thing that kinda had me queasy was the pov of the looking down and that was it. It had a pretty good story though but for me the movie wasn’t so bad. Yes I watched this by myself😊

I get vertigo on a step ladder. Rock climbing, cliff jumping, or climbing rickety towers is a big fat nope for me.

I just watch it yesterday. My hands and feet keep sweating all the times. Especially when they climb that last 200 feets. And when they fall, my hands are shaking a lil'bit. What an experience🤯🥵
