Love the system just hate that the handle is short. Might have to switch to packout so I don't have to lean over to roll this box

I have just bought the 2.0 version of DS300 to add to my existing TS boxes (15 of them). Two things not happy about. 1) The full length tote trays don't fit in 2.0 version. 2) The DS300 is a bit unsteady, (wobbly) when used as a "hop up" and I nearly slipped off when I stood on mine.
The air valve seems to be missing from this new version. There is some confusion about what the valve is for on version 1.0. It was often described as being to vent excess pressure on warm days. The opposite is the case. If you close the box then leave it overnight in the cold (e.g. in your van in winter) you can't open the box as the air has cooled inside and the pressure is lower, effectively creating a partial vaccuum, so opening the valve allows air to enter and equalise the pressure. How is this dealt with in TS 2.0?
3:03 It's not clear what this component does. Anyone tell me what modular means in relation to TS 2.0 ?

Bit of a design fault on the wheeled bottom box, the box handle recess and the hinges hold water and when it's opened all the water pours straight into the box, which in my case holds all my cordless gear, batteries, chargers etc. We all work in bad weather in this country and I thought this system would be a better alternative to individual boxes fr each tool or the Bosch toolbags but unless you dry the lid off before opening it (who has time?) the tools in the bottom get soaked .

Hello, this is a good review, stands out from others. I'm looking at both the tstak and tough system, and so far not seeing why there's a need for the improved water resistance in the toughsystem range, surely the tstak ip54 is good enough for keeping in my cellar or outside in the rain? Also where can I find the internal dimensions? Even with a small plastic thickness there's ridges and reinforcements etc, I'm not sure how to figure how much each will hold. I'm not sure why the drawers haven't got a flat inner roof either to stop things falling out back but it's cool the drawers are removable. I think I'd find the latter useful for screws etc considering I won't need to lift anything out the way for access, but seems as said, they aren't secure-are there any inserts for the drawers to add screws and such? Toughsystem I like because the cart would allow me to get anything like the bottom box out without having to lift all above off first, plus the parcel trolley with it

Warning the DEWALT trays are defective the black handles that connect them to each other are fragile and delicate the tabs break when you connect them to one another the handles have 2 small teeth that clips on to the tray below they have a tendency to snap off if not locked properly or bottom trays are heavy it’s a great concept but they used pour design

We all can't wait.. They taking so long the red boxes already have a fleet of modules out the wazzu. Some TS designs seem to be half-cheeked.
TS system needs more functionality. For starters they NEED to create an adapter to mount Tstak to Toughsystem. There are three versions of storage units from DeWalt, and they don't interact. There are bits set cases that are Tstak capable but not TS capable. There's a vac for Tstak but can't connect to TS.
TS has a wall mount rack system. Tstak can only stay on the ground.
