It's heavily suspected that I'm an addict and psilocybin was the single most effective medication I've ever used.

In 2016 I was on an LSD trip in Melbourne botanical gardens, smoker of 15 years at that point, decided to imagine the poison running through my bloodstream as I took a drag and almost had a panic attack as I felt the poison travel through my entire body and feel like it was killing me from the inside.

That moment flicked a switch, a neurological path was disturbed and while I did try cigarettes and have the occassional one for 2 years after then, I never again had the mental cravings I used to and I stopped thinking about wanting to have a cigarette.

My fiancé had the exact same experience with me, 6 years on we are both happy non-smokers for life!

I've heard so many good things about psych's like the psilocybin mushrooms and their health benefits, I also heard it helps one get through addiction and depression. Am just wondering where or how I can get my hands on them cause I'll love to give it a try, I'm passing through a state of terrible depression lately and it's killing me

Nothing scarier than having a DMT demon get in your face about your smoking.

If I had taken my mother’s cigarettes, or ruined my mother’s cigarettes, she would never have stopped beating me.

I take large doses of shrooms about twice a month for my depression... plus it's fun lol....between cannabis and magic mushrooms, people have been missing out on the massive medicinal benefits of both. There's so much ignorance out there about these two substances its ridiculous.... all these old republicans need to get out of the way and stop blocking progress

Laying the groundwork for future advertising of psychedelics... the big pharma companies are angling for this market and give their approval for these kind of stories. They need to soften up the public towards these products.

I smoked for 33 years. I have been nicotine free for over 4 years now. It took 2 years for there to be no more cravings. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Do what I did, been smoke free for 8 years. Have a massive heart attack, endure a triple double by pass, dying 3 times during the surgery. Being in a induced coma, with my chest opened, for fear of me coding, and not be able to get back in.

So she embraced her angry and fear. Good on her to acknowledge what troubled her the most.
