Bruh they showed this at some drug/vaping presentation at my school’s auditorium today and I remember me and a few friends were holding in our laughter because how hilarious this animation looked to us. I don’t know why but at 0:38 we just burst out laughing because all we saw was a little blue thing just sliding down like it wants to die inside. Everyone else chuckled at it but we were just dying, like on the floor in tears.

I understood everything until neurotransmitters, then I just watched the rest while being pleased by the animation. It was a great video and I'm really interested in this but I don't know why I've been loosing focus so quickly. I will rewatch this tomorrow as I really want to understand it. I happened to watch an episode in Breakthrough S02 in National Geographic Channel where LSD was used to combat any form of addiction (drug, alcohol, tobacco). The results were kind of promising as the subjects of the treatment reported better mental state and were able to put their addiction at bay for several months

In every publication I have ever read, these molecules are described as serotinin agonists, that is, a molecule that is similar to serotonin, and binds to serotonin receptors, so the effect is not due to blocking serotonin, but exciting these neurons by mimicking it.
