America isn’t nearly as old as it seems to be. As one of the most dominant major global superpowers in recent memory, one would assume it is an empire that spans at least half a millennia.
Not so, it declared independence in the late 18th century.
Sure, there were colonies that predated independence, but the real story of America starts with their ever-famous Declaration.
Considering how quickly the United States of America established itself and spread its influence across the world, it’s an interesting exercise to consider what might have happened if the British never reached Jonestown.
