8:07:50 was definitely my favorite moment. Where Das was like "that was the most kerbal launch I've ever seen."

I cannot believe how long that sucker held up while basically doing loops at speed.

Incredible!!!! Absolutely incredible work

OMG!! I remember getting up at 0400/4 a.m.
to watch JOHN GLENN
take off for his first flight.
I cried then, and I'm crying now. It feels like just yesterday! Wish I were camping on South Padre Island this week!!😭 ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing that it flipped at least 3 times yet did not crumple or fall apart! That is one strong rocket! Still not sure about how much drag those giant grid fins produce. But fun to watch!

So in anticipation of OFT2 I watched this one again. The reactions right after the lunch are fantastic and raw. Your team did a great job. I can’t wait for the next one.

You guys by far provided the best on the spot coverage. This includes SpaceX themselves as they seemed to be reading from their preflight scripting even as the rocket was tumbling and appeared not aware of the situation on their public feed until well into the tumbling phase. I have scanned all over since and wanted to say you guys were the best by far and I appreciate your providing this feed.

Not all my rockets in KSP survived that sort of a tumble.

This is the best coverage of the launch even compared to Spacex own coverage. Thanks for all the work you put into this.

Dude the fact that it went end over end multiple times without coming apart is majorly impressive. Strength of the vehicle is not an issue.

The OLM didn't have a flame trench before but now it does 🙂

Awesome historic day!

A testament to the structural rigidity of the booster and the starship. It was going at Mach 2 when it tumbled out of control. And it didn't break up, even with the engines running!

Thanks for the exciting footage, I saw the launch live (8:01:41) here even before the space x stream!
You guys should do a satellite tv channel!

Reminds me of the first launch of the shuttle STS 001. The pundents expected multiple scrubs. The excitement was through the roof the huge contraption could ever fly. No American astronaut had been to space for years, but there were two about to fly a completely crazy new ship. But the countdown went below ten then all the way to zero, and it flew. It was incredible and the feeling America was back in space was all over the country with great pride. The shuttle later gracefully landed at Edwards in an unimaginable way. Robert Young popped out of the ship and was jabbing his fists in the air in excitement. He shouted “What a flying machine”!

An incredible launch...shame it didn't survive, but we gained a new classic term: rapid unscheduled disassembly...love it!
