Watch live as a SpaceX Super Heavy booster and Starship launch on its fourth test flight. The plan is for the Starship to achieve near-orbital velocity on a mission that will take it half way around the world. Starship will then reenter the atmosphere and splashdown in the Indian Ocean. The Super Heavy booster will target a splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico. Liftoff on Thursday, June 6, is set for 7:50 a.m. CDT / 8:50 a.m. EDT / 1250 UTC.

Our live coverage, hosted by Will Robinson-Smith, will begin 75 minutes before launch and is brought to you in partnership with LabPadre.

After flight 3 lasting so long…I started to realize how sturdy, strong, and well done these Starships are. Just as shocked and amazed as everyone else today…but less surprised by it now (after a few hours) given SpaceX’ work ethic and desire to get things right through innovation and editing.

Was this the first flight in American history to maintain telemetry through the entire reentry burn? This is historic!!!! Nice job yesterday Boeing but this was more fun!!!!

Marcus. You are so right that Space X is inspiring so many young people! Of course, in your "spare time", look at FIRST robotics. "Inspiring" youth around the world for over 20 years!!!

4 attempts and almost a perfect Result.
Less than 14 Months ago, the first Try obliterated the Concrete plate^^ Thats a quick development.
I assume the next Attempt could end with no melted Flap, Booster landing at Base and Starship carried (Test-)Cargo?

SpaceFlight Now - a great job once again! Incredible what SpaceX have accomplished on this flight, and can't wait for flight 5 to see what they do next.

SpaceX needs the cleaning system that NASCAR uses for the cameras on the cars.

Thank you Spaceflight Now and LabPadre! What a mindblowing launch, every single starship launch has been more insane than the last, and this time both vehicles made it back in one piece!

I wish the MSM would hype spaceflight instead of ideology.
This is a truly newsworthy achievement.

Did anyone else notice the "observer" craft at T+6:21? Right side of picture from the top of the booster. Looks like it is just parked there waiting, at around 126, 000 ft (30+ KM). I anticipated that there would be some coverage about this somewhere because it blew me away when I saw it.

Well done Space X !!
The Shuttle Orbiter was able to transmit 'data' through out it's re-entry.
