Evaluating Log With a Radical Logarithm

👉 Learn how to evaluate logarithms with radicals. Recall that the logarithm of a number says a to the base of another number say b is a number say n which when raised as a power of b gives a. (i.e. log [base b] (a) = n means that b^n = a). Thus, to evaluate logarithms with radicals we make use of the properties of exponents to rewrite our radical as rational power and then we either rewrite the expression as an exponential equation using the definition of a logarithm or evaluate using properties of logarithms.
