2010 328i with 197, 000 miles and running strong. Take care of your BMW and your BMW will take care of you.

I drive a 2005 525i with 230k miles on it and it runs like a champ! I always make sure that I do the oil change at every 5k miles and i always change the air and cabin filters every 3 oil changes!

Can you make a playlist of things a n54 owner should do for preventative maintenance and things you should check on? If you already do can you point me in the direction of that playlist

People will say a car is unreliable but not be taking care of their car at the same time. Cars will obviously have wear and tear especially a twin turbo 300hp stock car let alone any mods.

I'm at 176k miles with my 2013 335i n55. I was pretty nervous but the PO seemed to take good care of it. And did a lot of freeway driving. I agree the engines them selves are solid, it's some of the components that struggle. Hell, my e28 is up at 385k miles. Haha and going strong 💪 The original engine made it to 350k.

Lol, “actual engine is reliable” but “it’s components are not” 🤣🤣🤣🙏🏽

2007 335i 190, 000 and still running strong here! No big investments other than normal 335i problems.

Hey brother I'm a huge fan man and I like to tell you about how much motivation I get to actually do as much as I can myself. I'm new to working on car let alone a BMW. I am definitely turning into a fanatic anyways thanks for all the tips and videos. Ps I live out here in Riverside. I got an 08 N51 328 sedan with 98k doing my water pump and complete tune up this month

Just hitting 150k on mine replaced the water Pump and thermostat, serp belt, and working on all the injectors. Stay safe out there i. Cali dont get popped for modded cars.

I'm having one of the best experiences with my E87 130i i'm at 106k mls and only changed water pump and thermostat, the thing pulls like a horse and gives me that smile everytime i'm in it... BMWs are wonderful cars, just dont expect to run them on a camry budget and you will be fine..

Ownership has EVERYTHING to do with reliability. My e90 is running stronger than most and will continue to do so thanks to the previous owner! Educate yourself on early symptoms and common mileage problems and you should be smiling!

Always have that $1000 backup cash though!

The N54 is an in-line 6 and that setup is near bulletproof. My first truck was an 82 Chevrolet with the same configuration and ran well until the day I sold it with 365k miles. Just turned 185k on my 09 e92 so we’re only half-way done!!
