The difference between a good car and a bad car is the owner

depends on service history. bought my N54 335i at 107k, raced it until 190k. just put reputable turbos in it and after that all i needed were usual oil changes and tires, change an old hose here and there. afterall, it's 15 year old rubber. now my E90 M3 is at 103k and going up since i daily it. miles mean nothing as long as the car has been maintained according to it's maintenance schedule.

No. My dad had a 2011 BMW 528i. 1 owner, well maintained at the dealer, purchased 2018 with 90k Mi. Sold it in 2022 with 130k miles after dumping $10, 000 of repairs into the car. Leaked coolant, burned oil, constant electrical issues causing it to have to be towed THREE times. Was nice when it did drive though.

240k miles on the n54 nothing I could really complain about needs the turbos replaced but what car wouldn’t with that mileage

The video ummm ended before getting to the points....I am interested in the thoughts by you though. No offense meant at all. Id think it would be ok unless its s turbo model since Ive known people to over boost them and what not....

You should stay away from anything before 2013/2014 tbh

Depends on how old. I wouldn't because it cost an arm and a leg to repair anything on it!!!

All those lights say “unless you’re a BMW mechanic, NO!” Now if it were a late 70’s-early 90’s 3 series I’d say 100k is nothing….but your average joe can fix those with just a decent collection of metric hand tools and a can-do attitude.

that’s extremely low. like buying a used reliable car mileage.

Don’t buy beamers at all, unreliable cars, expensive to fix 👎

Sell it. Those cars are garbage by 100, 000 miles and in need of costly, major repairs.
