You are so right. I have had to switch to Year round schooling with my chronic pain and more and more chronic illnesses. The thing is I am a huge overplanner and kept adding things up to our weeks. To top it all I am a box checker and have taken consistently a week and a half to finish a week's worth of school work AND we started in October. So we are only on week 21, LOL. I have been simplifying in the last two weeks. I think our priorities will be Math, Writing, History and Literature. Husband helps me teach Logic of English. So that is what I am going to do through the Summer and September. Thank you for your encouragement!

I have enjoyed this talk. Thank you for the encouragement. I think I will try your method of writing down the prayers. The time with the Lord is priceless, and so needed. I often modify my son's assignments, too, based on how the day is going and what we have on our plate.
