THIS EXPLAINED A MILLION
Oh and if anyone still doesn't get this, here is what Mr.J is saying:
Example: So if the Ratio is 9:21, then we turn it to a fraction: 9/21
Then we divide the GCF( Greatest Common Factor) with the numbers
9 ÷ 3 ( cuz 3 ×3 is 9 ) = 3
21÷3 ( whatever you do to the top number, you do to the bottom) = 7
So 9:21 simplified is 3:7
