Hi Mike,
I think the Turo platform gets better with multiple vehicles at once. Like you stated, depending on if you own it or not, it can take away from the dollars to mile ratio but when I first started, it was getting that All-Star host status and learning the platform. I instantly got 13 bookings fairly quick in having unlimited miles and using airport shuttle parking to automate the checkout a bit and was charging about $60 per day with discounts for longer trips on a BRAND new car. I mix this in with using that car to do Rideshare depending on pickup times. Being an All-Star I was able to increase this by $20-35 per day and still get bookings because of my reviews and the experience I give guests (provide a little welcome bag with water, mask, hand sanitizer, coupons, etc), multi use charger cord, phone mount, etc. The way I see it, if Turo limits you to 130, 000 miles, and say you have a new car thats driven 750 miles per guest, going off your pricing at $200 for that trip; you would make $34, 600 or so with 173 trips doing so. To me that's a good trade off and as you add more to the platform, it can stack to quickly pay those cars off (if financed) or buy more cash cars. Also I took a favor in certain cars like Hyundai's because of the Bluelink app. This app is truly glorious and allows me to remotely track the status of my cars, locations, and remote/unlock start them if needed. For sre when you get All-Star you can charge for delivery and more extras and I think it will greatly boost you income. I was averaging maybe 3X my car note a month before All-Star status. Will look forward to seeing your progress as a Turo host.

I went to LA over the weekend and Turo is so much better than airport rentals. It's perfect, I rented a BMW i8 for $400 for the weekend, it was an amazing experience.
