Fun fact: Jason Todd's jacket when he first returned as the red hood was his utility belt. The jacket was made of kevlar and other durable materials and had hidden pockets. It fit his origin as a kid of the street and his outlook on being less of a symbol and more of a pragmatic means to an end.
