I just did a big chop and I’m on a natural journey! I’ve been a hairstylist for 20+ years and I’m learning that all of that stuff isn’t for us. Quickweaves, ponytails, braids, press and curls, relaxers and more. I was very good at what I did but one thing I am not good at is managing my natural hair. What a discredit to who I really am. So my journey has begun and I just may be taking my beauty business in a completely natural direction. All glory to the Most High and thanks be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ❤️ Thanks for this video! I’m all for the two strand twist! #newsubscriber

It always fascinating to see people wash their natural hair weekly, I guess my hair can’t handle it because when I stretch my washes to one month I see more growth retention.

This is literally EXACTLY what I use to do to my hair and it was to the middle of my back. Then I started coloring and being lazy and my hair is unrecognizable. Thank you for posting this!! Giving me motivation to get back to my roots 💜

I totally agree about learning to properly care & maintain our natural hair for ourselves. I remember a friend telling me she noticed how gentle I was with my hair. She said I knew how to pamper my hair. She always wanted me to take care of her hair. I’ve also noticed that we have put a lot of trust in hair stylist/braiders. Only to find out that some of them lack the knowledge about natural hair care. I’m so grateful that I have two daughters because now I know so much about our hair. Great content. Thanks!

Wearing my hair in twists is my favorite...I wear my hair in twists so much people tend to ask or even assume my hair is "locd"...I actually went on a loc journey September 2020 and I combed it out last month(April2022), I started my locs with really short hair, like barely a twa and now my hair touches my shoulders...right now I'm wearing my hair in twists, and that's how I intend to rock my hair always. I hate to stress over hair. 😃

Wonderful video! My hair is very thin, uneven, dry, damaged with thin edges. I started my twisting journey yesterday. Sectioned my hair in small flat twists with water and grease. When I was done my scalp and hair felt so good like it was saying thank you. It feels so good and moisturized. I’m so excited to see the process of my hair in a year.

Your hair is absolutely beautiful. Looks very healthy. It's very refreshing finding youtubers that I can relate to while being new on this platform. Nice video hun 🇯🇲🙌🏾

You are gorgeous. Your hair is beautiful and healthy. You're right. SOME hairstylist and most professional braiders don't know or don't care about the health of your hair. If they did, there would not be so many women with traction alopecia and bald edges.

Paige I just wanted to tell you, Girl thanks so VERY You saved my hair. I learned from you to apply oil to my hair first and cover with a plastic cap before shampooing and I noticed afterwards that I had so much less shedding! And that means more length retention! Also twisting my hair before shampooing and deep conditioning, so much less tangles! Thanks so very much! 😍

Tried it and it works my wash day was a breeze but trying to stretch the wash days to every three weeks. But will keep it moisturized up to wash day. I am in love with my 4c hair and she knows it. Got to keep my hands and fingers out of my head, the moisture on my hands need to stay on my hair😂Thanks for sharing

This video was extremely helpful!! Thank you so much Paige!!!! I did the “big chop” 2yrs ago when COVID started and now my hair is shoulder length!! Nonetheless, I’m definitely hoping to continue to grow my hair in the most healthiest way possible. I’m also trying my best to learn tension free hairstyles from other natural beauties!! Thanks again Paige!!

I loved the hair tips!
I totally agree with not letting anyone who don't know you and your hair, do anything with your hair.
Alot of those so called stylist don't know anything about the health of hair.
They are doing it for the money!

I have learnt well!

Very very true about trust issues with doing your own hair and the energy ✨ Only oneself would truly care for their own hair.

I'm happy to see your transformation of the twists as I am approaching the 8th month mark tomorrow after a buzz cut in May 2021. It was difficult but now can maintain my hair in a stylish way and in twists until it's at the desired length. Thanks Paige ✨
