a clay and acv routine got my afro hair to mid back length. After cutting my hair to inch I'm on a new journey to re-learn my hair and exceed my previous hair length. Love your hair it's beautiful.

As an Italian I can say that I use olive oil for my hair for my nail cuticles I shine my boots with it and all leather and it's all around oh then I use it in cooking of course they use it in smoothies but we use it for everything

today I just washed my whole body and hair with liquid clay, it was such a fun experience.
I had the clay in this big glass bowl in the shower with me, i was dipping my head in it and putting the clay all over myself, I rinsed everything thoroughly and I can say i've never felt this clean in my life. No synthetic or even natural chemicals has ever gave me this experience!

Thanks for sharing your routine.
I've been using goat milk soap to wash my hair for about 3 years now, but I've been thinking about more natural techniques. About 2 months ago, I got in a hurry and used shampoo and conditioner for the first time, and noticed the next day that about 2 to 4 inches on my hair had broken off. 😳 I've never had that happen before. Ever.
I'm so glad that you're helping so many of us to find more natural and healthy alternatives in hair care. Thank you.

As a side note. If your home has a septic system, don't let the clay solution go down the drain and into the tank. You'll need to spend 1000s of dollars to have your tank pumped every few years. Instead, use the clay and rinse it out into a trough you can empty outside, or use it in an outdoor shower.

I have dry straight hair and the clay she uses makes my hair so soft and gives it so much body. It’s lovely. Leaving it sit on the Jaír about 5 to 10 min really helps take the oiliness out but my hair feels soft and amazing

Beautiful hair! My daughter and I have been using these techniques and following you since November of 2022 and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Less washing is saving time and the products actually are less expensive than modern shampoos and conditioners.

One braid of your hair is thicker than the braid of my whole hair together.

I have a long wavy hair and despite having a cosmetology license and access to professional products, it has been hard finding the right shampoo and conditioner for my particular hair type and texture. I tried your clay hair wash for a few months and my hair loves it! Waves are shiny and defined, and my hair and scalp feel clean. I still shampoo and condition every now and then after coloring my hair, but use this wash quite often now. Thank you for sharing! 🙏🏼❤

Very nice! Thank you!
I have an oily scalp so I will try the bentonite.
FYI: I learned first-hand a decade ago that most bentonite clays are laced with lead.
After having been notified, and realizing I had symptoms, I searched for a natural detox (which worked) and discovered from a NY doc that the only pure bentonite is from WYOMING and is called Pascalite. Small, family-owned business. Pascalite is very moisturizing, too.

isn't it strange as we grow up we're taught to think that dirt and mud are "dirty", like it has a negative energy around the word. Yet it literally, cleanses us.

It's almost like someone or something doesn't want us knowing this information :'(

Gorgeous! I’ve been using your techniques exclusively since January. My hair has never been happier. And it also gives me peace of mind knowing all the ingredients are from products I’ve made or know firsthand. Thank you, Katherine! ~Megan G

Agreed! I have been doing this for over 6 months now and I can easily go 1.5-2 weeks before next wash and my hair/scalp are not dry. When I used conventional shampoos I was dependent on washing daily or every 3 days as it made my hair more dry or disrupted the pH balance and created over secretion of oil. Thank you for sharing and inspiring women to use natural methods.

My hair definitely got better with a boar bristle brush. It helped me this summer. I manage to remove the sweat and the build-up easily and continue to wash my hair each month. Thanks to you 🌸🌺🤸

African Pride Hair oil that you can buy at Walgreens grows hair quickly. Just apply it right after you wash it and then brush it. During covid my hair was only 3 inches long because I kept it short. Now it's almost to my belly button and I don't have to mix any crazy concoctions

I have thin hair that is almost shoulder length. Im using rice water shampoo and conditioner. I use honey instead of soap twice a week from head to toe. Have you tried honey? Its great as a facial. Just use warm water then wash with honey. Let set up to 5 minutes. Then wash with warm water. You will smell like honey. I have used coconut oil as a mask and a mix with honey. I suggest you try adding a egg that is beaten with oil and honey. Using a bbq brush brush this on your scalp and from roots to ends. Then let stay 24 hours at least. You can do this several times. Then wash out. Your hair will be hard but it will be very soft afterwards.

You shouldn't use metal bowls/spoons with clay. It will neutralize the clay, making it less effective, and draw metal particles into itself

I use an herbal like clay, ,add few drops of dr. Bronners, almond Castille and water...wash 2.5 weeks..no conditioner ..my hair like yours, curly, long and prone to tangle...after almost dry I apply a beautiful combo oil I buy from a local distributor...it's beautiful oil...I always braid my hair after washing and detangle later or next day. At night always braid at nite for bed, curly hair must be protected and it's dry, but so healthy now from your videos...add oils as needed through the weeks with bore brushing..my hair is mid back length or longer being older it's still OK to have long pretty hair, as I keep it off my face with barrettes and or soft hair ties in a ponytail and or braid it. TY Katherine for this demonstration of hair washing...the chlorine in our water has always been a problem for me...I can't go in pools either....very dry skin and hair but washing up to 3 weeks helps me stay away from chlorine...and lots of care and oils...maybe you can address that issue...my psoriasis is pretty much gone..on my scalp..dermatologist says keep doing what you're doing...so happy 😊...it's OK for older women to have long hair if they like to and use beautiful oils to keep it healthy...
