My base agreement appeared in the monetization tab of my creator studio app. I was not emailed. I was able to sign everything directly in the app. I hope this helps anyone trying to avoid email phishing schemes.

Great update video! I
This update has caused chaos all over the place though.
A lot of people are having old content demonetised some people are having their entire channels demonetised and some are even having channel bans handed out.
I think things should have been done a lot better from their end. Simply dropping an official video into everyones feed would have been a good start.

A video with your input on the cursing would be f***ing awesome- I mean... Much appreciated. 😅😅 I've heard a few different takes on certain aspects of it, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on it, too! (e.g. how much impact cursing in the first several seconds has, what words can and can't be said, etc.)

Also, I know there were some things pertaining to violence related updates I'm a bit concerned about, not just because I'm a gamer and follow people I don't wanna see cancelled on YouTube, lol. But on my channel I'm about to start publishing content on, I focus on the nonprofit industrial complex primarily, and some videos I'm gonna inevitably talk about domestic abuse, criminalization of marginalized populations, and other problems that include words that often are demonetized on sight, regardless of the context. Like the word "abuse", for example...

I'm not super concerned about not being able to get monetized, because I've come to terms with the fact I probably won't be lol, and I may just rely on Patreon for the most part... But I'd still like to know what may affect the chances of it ever happening more for the sake of knowing.

Excited to get this monetization feature! Short content is 😒😒so never fully understood how it is so addictive, but to each their own! For Content Creators, at least for us, majority of our subs come from Videos and 2nd is Shorts. Great for reach and conversions, now even greater for monetary gains.
