I know 200 out of 100 people who do not boil peas/mutter before adding to any vegetables curry. unless a mother and uncle made comment.. why didn't no one boil in water, had pair of 200 eyes astonished.

Thanks for this video, three-quarters of a minute to learn a new skill. Just recently started eating fresh green beans, and I'll never go back to canned or frozen ones again. Then today, at the street market, saw a little package of the peas, thought... (light bulb!)

I wonder if using bouillon rather than salt might give it a bit better taste yet? It certainly enhances the beans, and as a bonus you can use the water for making gravy afterwards and recapture all those vitamins and minerals (and the flavor) that came out during the boiling process.
