HOW TO COOK PEAS FROM A CAN STEP BY STEP VIDEO

Today I'm going to show you how to cook peas from a can step by step. So, grab all of your items and cook along with me.

Ingredients you'll need:
• 1 15oz Can Del Monte Sweet Peas - Brand Optional
• 1 Tablespoons Butter

Instructions:
• Open can of peas
• Pour peas and water into small pot
• Heat peas on high heat until water comes to a boil
• Reduce heat once peas begin to boil
• Continue to simmer peas until most of the water has cooked down - DO NOT COOK ALL THE WATER OUT
• Turn off heat - Cooking is complete

I love peas. I found myself curious how other people cook them. This is the way my mom always cooked them. Admittingly, I've been lazy and use the microwave too much. It really is time for me to get back to the basics.

This is good information as the packing water has the exact amount of salt for the amount of peas. I like pearl onions in mine.

I drain the liquid, add butter salt and pepper and simmer until hot. 😊
