Bro, you have no idea how much I’m struggling to master hip rotation. My sensei has been going on and on about it for years. Let me tell you it’s definitely not the easiest part of the body to master.

But I suppose that’s the reason because once you do, you’ll get the most out of martial arts.

It isn't that the lower body is stronger than the upper body, it's that majority of forms of kicks and punches in many martial arts gather potential energy in some manner from the ground, which is why almost all martial artists are expectedly strong with their lower body.

Core also helps gather strength for 99% of strikes

Coach told me "If your butt doesn't hurt, then you're doing it wrong."

As I laughed at the diabolical innuendo, I was later in pain (Soreness) cause of doing the right tech for like 20 minutes😂 But it all built upon itself and now I'm grateful for that lesson disguised as a joke🎉
