Your form, rapidly throwing 1-2s, 3-4s, 5-6s on the bag, and making sure you getting your hands back to the face as quick as you push them out is the best way. The hand to foot connection is where it all comes from.

Shadow boxing with weights only builds shoulder endurance so you dont drop your hands, however the increased bloodflow will make your hands extremely fast for a short while

My dad always said, and taught, to be fast is to be unaware of your actions. Its one thing to train to be fast, its another realm to just throw a combo and never realize how quick it goes when you dont think about it. Let your body naturally get faster via muscle memory. Practice!!

I used two things to get a monstrously fast jab in my amateur boxing days. 1: non-lockout jabs with a light resistance band to failure 2x per week. Built up to a 50lb band for 100 reps. 2: tape a piece of newspaper to a doorframe only on the top. Let the bottom sway freely. Try to snap jab a hole in the paper. Repeat everyday until you get it. Slow jabs make the paper wrap around your hand.

I like all 3 of these, very effective, but I can't do explosives push up yet, I tried do explosive knee push-ups, I am still training hard, want to become a formal push-up, weight shadow boxing is very effective, I don't have dumbbells, I take 2 bottles of small mineral water training, this has helped me improve a lot, and I can also practice boxing and cardio, I want to work hard to learn handstand push–up 👊🦊🐹

one thing that helped me almost triple my hand speed is understanding everytime i punch i have to put force from my shoulders
