How to Catch Fish Jigging

using my all time favourite setup, we go to work using different techniques and tricks to show how successful jigging can be.

Another awesome video Matt.
I always do 4 wraps on the reel and 1 and a half rod lengths of leader. That way when close to the boat you have a little stretch for that last run. Especially here on the East Coast with kingfish.

Mate, you make it look so easy . I've only just started watching your channel and I'm going to give the squidtrek a go. Personally I would remove the top split ring and tie a loop knot directly to it, do you ?
Also do up size the assist hooks ?

Interesting to see the difference in technique between what gear/ techniques work on the GBR vs traditional SPJ. That pe2-4 seacore rod is more like a fast jigging rod (or more suited to 500gram+ jigs 😂)

hey i have a question i live in mackay and my dad has a boat about 8.5 bertrem we go to the reef often but only use bait and still do extremly well i want to do jiging but there is so much run off mackay that sometimes we need 2 sinkers how would i get a 130g jig down in 50+ meters of water?love your videos
